Chris Angel: The Man that Walks on Water

So what's the trick?

It seems to me Chris is careful to walk in a straight line. The girls are obviously stooges, set up ahead of time, that go into the water in amazement. They purposely miss touching the glass underneath. They are there to confirm the illusion that there is nothing under his feet.

Just a guess, anyway.
